Sending and receiving happy mail is one of the greatest joys; don’t you agree? Walking to your mailbox, opening it up and finding a special envelope just for you? Just thinking about it makes me happy! Today, I'm sharing a fun list of ideas to spruce up your happy mail to make it even more fun, along with ideas of neat little goodies you can include as well!
Letters and cards are so amazing – you can be as simple or as creative as you’d like! The very basics you need are only a piece of paper, a pen/pencil and a stamp. That’s it! Easy right? But let’s take it a step further and explore some extra happy ways to get creative!
Next, let’s talk about all the super fun things you can include in your letters and happy mail! Below you’ll find a list of all sorts of unique goodies that fit in an envelope... Stickers Washi tape samples Tea bags Confetti Handlettered or art pieces Scripture and quote cards Bookmarks Cool Aid Packets Sharable Prayers (these by Dayspring are amazing!) Gum Paper clips (there are super cool shaped ones now) Extra stationary or cards Photos Coupons Postcards Seed packets Sticky notes Origami Recipes Balloons Hot cocoa or instant coffee (would probably require extra stamps) Pressed flowers Decals Ribbon or fabric strips Woven friendship bracelets Lists of favorite songs, movies, books, places to visit, hobbies, etc. Small nail file Tiny calendars The possibilities are endless! So my challenge for you today is to write a letter to someone you know would love to hear from you, or a happy mail card, and incorporate some of these fun ideas to make it extra special!
